This is a traditional Mexican dish, in its basic version, with loads of melted cheese and chorizo sausage.

It’s quick and easy to make and sure to please your family and friends.


Ingredients

 2 cups mozzarella cheese
 2 links of cooked chorizo sausage
 1 bag of Mi Cocina's Corn Chips
 1 jar of your favourite Mi Cocina salsa
 1 lime

Note:

  • If you want to make this a full meal, you can double the cheese, sauté onions, mushroom, peppers and chorizo sausage, top the cheese and bake as above.
  • Use flour tortillas to make tacos, don’t forget the salsa and the lime juice.

Cooking Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°C.

Place the cheese in an oven-proof dish.

Sprinkle the chorizo sausage on top and bake for 8 to 10 mins; just until the cheese is melted, don't overcook.

Serve immediately with Mi Cocina’s corn chips, your favourite salsa and a squirt of lime.
