Mexican Picadillo

This is a dish made with ground beef, potatoes, carrots, tomato sauce and chipotle peppers.

You will find variations of it depending on the region. It is quick and versatile.

Ingredients

 1 lb Ground Beef
 1 tbsp Vegetable Oil
 1 cup Diced Potatoes
 1 cup Diced Carrots
 1 Jar of Mi Cocina Salsa

Note:

We recommend using either Chipotle Medium or Hot depending on your heat preference!

Cooking Instructions

Lightly sauté the ground beef over medium heat.

Add carrots and potatoes to the meat mix and sauté for 5 min.

Add the jar of salsa to the beef and veggies mixture and mix well.

Cover the pan and let it simmer for 15-20 mins. or until meat is cooked and veggies are soft.

Add salt and pepper to taste. Enjoy!!
